L. Francis Griffin filled out this WWII draft registration card on October 16, 1940, when he was 21 years old. He stated that he was attending school at R. R. Morton (Moton) High School at the time of his registration. On the back of the card, he identified his race as “Negro,” his height at 5’11, his weight 167 lbs., his eye color brown, hair black, and complexion dark brown.
