<p>Norvel LaFallette Ray Lee filled out this WWII draft registration card on December 18, 1942, when he was 18 years old. He stated that he was a student in Fincastle, in Botetourt county. On the back of the card, he identified his race as “Negro,” his height at 6’1”, his weight 182 lbs., and his complexion “Light brown.”</p>
