Description
A multi-year project on the history of women in Virginia. VFH-funded exhibit,
catalogue, lectures, and symposia will portray experiences of women from all
social classes and ethnic and racial groups. Exhibit will be housed for three
months in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and then will travel throuqhout the
state. Historians, musicologists, curators, and literary critics will help to
shape project and will accoopany exhibit with panel discussions.
