Reading-discussion program on the Southern Literary Renaissance and Beyond. Sponsored by two libraries, this will be a nine-part series with lectures on books such as Faulkner's THE UNVANQUISHED, Warren's ALL THE KING'S MEN, Settle's THE KILLING GROUND, and Walker's THE COLOR PURPLE.
Program has become a prototype for other libraries in the state. Posters and brochures were exemplary. New scholars brought into VFH programs.
