Description
A Confederate cavalryman brandishes his sword as part of the logo design for Rebel Yell, a brand of bourbon produced at a distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. Charles R. Farnsley, a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, registered the brand in 1936. Beginning late in the 1940s, the bourbon was produced in small batches and distributed only in the southern states. In 1984 it began receiving nationwide distribution.
