Description
William Christian wrote this last will and testament on March 13, 1786, the Jefferson county court proved it in May of that year. He left five hundred acres of land in Kentucky and the forty-seven people he enslaved to his wife, Annie Henry Christian. He separated over 5,000 acres of land between his unmarried daughters. Christian left his saltworks in Kentucky to his son with the stipulation that he use its profits for the next seven years to pay off Christian's debts.
