Description
This political pamphlet, published by former Virginia Delegate T. Dix Sutton, argued against the passage of the revised Virginia Constitution. In Sutton's view the new Constitution placed too much power in the hands of the General Assembly and stripped power from local governments. In an open letter to the General Assembly Sutton argued that the new constitution allowed "a State Administration, dominated by Big Business" to "increase their power, shift the tax load to the little man and profit by the control of spending of the tax dollar!"
