Description
The owner of this house, Hester Fringer, added a larger window to her living room to have a better view of the trains which passed so closely by her house. This photograph shows a mother and son in this living room as a train goes by, the mother with a stern expression and the boy waving at the train. The photograph is framed in such a way that the viewer almost does not notice the train right away, before realizing just how close it is to the window.
