Description
This photograph advertising Tuf-Flex Glass shows a bathing suit clad white woman standing on top of three large blocks of ice, held over a roaring fire by a pane of Tuf-Flex glass. The ad was meant to be startling, and to enforce the brand’s assertion that it could withstand “fire and ice.” It is an example of the early commercial photography of O. Winston Link.
