June Carter Cash performs on stage in Kingsland, Arkansas, in 1994, with her husband Johnny Cash, partially obscured behind her, and her brother-in-law Tommy Cash, at left. The event celebrated the opening of a new post office building in Kingsland, the rural community where Cash was born and raised. At the same time, the U.S. Postal Service created a pictorial cancellation stamp of Johnny Cash with the Kingsland postmark.
