Description
This document records the ballots cast in Amelia County during the November 1871 election for the House of Delegates. McDowell Delaney received 965 votes out of 1,367 ballots cast. His closest competitor, M. F. I. Evans, received 370 votes. This document, signed by members of the Board of State Canvassers, certifies the election results.
