A chain of state seals is linked to the Great Seal of the United States at top; at the center of the image is Washington, who is identified as President of the United States of America. The Protector of his Country, and the Supporter of the rights of Mankind. This engraving was printed and sold by Amos Doolittle of New Haven, Connecticut.
