The Center for Media & Culture of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities and the Virginia Festival of American Film's Virginia Film Society will sponsor a special appearance by nationally-known filmmaker Nina Davenport at Vinegar Hill Theatre, Wednesday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. The program will feature a screening and discussion of Ms. Davenport's startling, exquisitely shot Hello Photo, which replicates the experience of being a traveller in India, of taking in sights without necessarily understanding their meaning. The program comes to Charlottesville with photographer-filmmaker Davenport by way of the renowned Southern Circuit touring network for media artists, which is organized and run by the South Carolina Arts Commission. General admission is $5.00 per person. Friends of the VFH who present this bulletin are entitled to one free admission.
