The Fayette Area Historical Initiative, or FAHI, is a local grassroots organization formed for the purpose of creating a living institution that celebrates the history of the Fayette Street corridor of Martinsville, Virginia, a thriving late-19th and 20th century African American community, and its surrounding communities.
