Market Day at Downtown Williamsburg

Since its inception, Colonial Williamsburg has gradually expanded its focus to include more efforts at social history, attempting to involve its visitors in recreations of the everyday lives of colonists. In this way, the modern Colonial Williamsburg tells a more complete story of the eighteenth century than it did in its early days.
