Description
Four one day symposia on patient rights, malpractice and malpractice insurance, health care for the aged, and health care for the poor. Each issue was addressed by an authority in medicine, ethics, law, and governmental policy and explored by all participants in workshops led by humanists and the major speakers. A lively and diverse audience of 1600 including many laymen along with professionals in health care and social welfare.
