Since the lifting of Soviet-era travel restrictions in the early 1990s, Mongolians, true to their nomadic roots, have ventured far afield as cultural ambassadors, especially into the English-speaking world. Arlington County has been the beneficiary of an influx of remarkable Mongolian performers, artists, business people, scholars and students who, in the process of expanding their own horizons, are also adding to our shared cultural, intellectual, and spiritual wealth.
