Description
The 7,000-square-foot Glass Studio, which opened in November 2011 as an addition to the Chrysler Museum of Art, is adjacent to the fine art museums main structure in Norfolk. The new space is used to showcase the museums world-class collection of glass art, as well as to provide glassmaking facilities for visiting artists and students. The museum has approximately 10,000 pieces of glass art, one of the largest collections of its kind.
