Video guide to Dr. Frederick T. Edmunds' book "Bones Unlimited," instructing how to play this hand-held instrument. 1989. Lexington-based Edmunds started a cottage industry promoting the art of the bones called "Bones Unlimited." During his retirement he performed around Virginia encouraging people to take up bones. He also worked with a furniture maker to manufacture sets for him and his fans. He put together an instructional booklet and a series of instructional videos ranging from Essentials to Master level, with the first in the series included here. Edmunds's materials are now available at the Rhythm Bones Society. This work was probably not supported by Virginia Humanities.
