“This project evolved after this summer’s visit to Northern England ancient stone circles. In the context of current political fracture and upheaval both in the U.S. and in the U.K. this visit to the remnants of an ancient civilization evoked both a reminder of the speck of time we currently inhabit, and the longing for connection to the earth that connects us across time to this ancient and mysterious society.”
